Beware
Registering interest is a serious action. Your registration can become a live application if recruitment becomes active.
When you register interest, you are not saying please alert me when there are vacancies, you are proactively giving Emirates permission to screen and consider your application.
If you have registered interest with an incomplete or unpolished application, your application may be rejected by the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and you will be required to wait six months before reapplication.

What to expect
During the registration process, you will complete an application form, upload your résumé and photographs.
How long is registration valid?
Emirates will keep your application on file for six weeks. If recruitment doesn’t go live during this timeframe, your application will be discarded and you will need to resubmit your registration.
Editing your registration
When I submitted a registration for future interest, the ability to edit my submission was revoked within an hour. The only option available was to withdraw the application.
It is never a good idea to submit a partial or unpolished application to a live site, even if editing permissions remain intact. You never know when your application might go live.
Advantages and disadvantages
Monitoring the website and signing up for email alerts is a safe alternative, however, priority screening will go to those who have registered interest. If enough applicants have registered, recruitment may not open.
If you have a finalised application pack, pre-registration could be a great step, but be sure you know what you’re doing and are ready to go forward.
Fear of missing out
Emirates are prolific recruiters. Although it does happen, it is rare for recruitment to shut completely or for long periods. Therefore, there is little need to be alarmed if a recruitment drive is missed. There will always be another.
